Trauma-Informed Courses & Training
The Institute is pleased to offer courses, workshops, and training that is evidence-based and grounded in the clinical experience of delivering prevention, early intervention, and mental health services to vulnerable infants, children, and youth.
Information provided in training helps participants understand how trauma impacts all aspects of a child’s development, with both short and long-term implications. Participants will learn what it means to be trauma-informed and trauma-responsive, as well as how relational safety is needed for change.
The translation of knowledge into practice is a core principle for the Institute, and videos currently available show therapy sessions using Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. Stay tuned for more courses, workshops, and videos.
